CONSTELLATION BRANDS – MODELO

Challenge: Mango Chile, Modelo’s newest flavor in the Chelada lineup, needed a unique, ownable, and fresh flavor extension identity to catch the eye of the summer shopper at shelf. The typography must showcase Modelo’s Mexican roots and cue the sweet, fruity and spicy notes of the flavor itself.

Solution: Using authentic Mexican design visuals as inspiration, we created hand-drawn flavor iconography in a playful style to fit with Modelo’s existing line of Chelada products. Product color was selected focusing on Mango as a concept – ensuring a unique appearance and a color that wasn’t similar to any existing Chelada flavors.
